As a Squarespace designer, small business owner and coach myself, I understand what your website needs to do for your business. I specialize in three broad areas of page design. I create simple sites for coaches, start-up businesses and trades people that need online presence and a way for them to be found by potential customers and clients.

Many designers will use complicated code to craft you a website that makes it difficult for you or others to modify or upload new content to. Upon completion of your project, I can either give you basic training to either allow you to edit your content yourself or I can continue on your business journey with you to provide onward support as your business evolves, grows and technology changes.

I build websites exclusively using the Squarespace platform. I do this because I believe it to be the best low cost and customisable solution for most small business. I have been using computer technology since the early 80’s and have got used to analysing and adapting to the latest productively tools including embracing Artificial Intelligence.

Process

Step 1 – Requirements Consultation

One of the keys to design is capturing your needs as business owner. I do this via a Zoom conference call and a detailed onboarding questionnaire. Your brand is your identity so I spend time getting to know your values and your customer profile. This helps avoid endless changes

Step 2 – Design and Build

Communication shows that I care. During this stage I keep you informed of progress and check anything that wasn’t discussed at the Kick-Off Conference call that has come up during the design phase. Any temporary images are finalised and replaced by the final one’s and text is tweaked. There is an opportunity to provide feedback and request small and essential changes.

Step 3 – Handover and Publish

Once any editorial changes have been agreed, the website is published, the domain name linked and the website presented to Google. A date is agreed for any training that you, the customer, might need if you want to maintain the website.
